Piazzatorre, Italy, the first day of the World BikeTrial Championship 2024 took place today with 127 participants in the B/H group. The organization, taking note of the high number of participants, modified the program with only the B/H group on Saturday and group A Sunday, with only the B/H group on Saturday. This allowed better management of the race for everyone even if there were queues at the entrance to the sections. All natural areas in the forest of Piazzatorre, a very good place for the best traditional BikeTrial.
The rankings describe a balanced race, where the leaders lapped under 10 penalties and almost none at full penalties. Ranking are available here with a photo gallery of the day and Open Ceremony too.
