BikeTrial International Union take very important decisions during the last General Assembly held in Prague the 06th December 2014. This is the first published content about the many news approved by BIU General Assembly.
The new configuration of BikeTrial Categories 2015 will be one of the most important news for the future of the Original BikeTrial's Sport. We can see the new configuration:

- Old Group C (Femine) is deleted.
- Femine have new handicap rating based on age:
- 7/8/9 X 1.00;
- 10/11/12 X 1,10;
- 13/14/15 X 1,30;
- 16 and up X 1,50.
- Senior 20" definition: 19 years old and up in the current year, with bike equipped with wheel till 22“.
- Senior 26" definition: 19 years old and up in the current year, with bike equipped with wheel more great than 22“.
- Elite Femina definition: Open Category for female Riders. 15 years old and during the current year.
- Elite 20" definition: Open Category for Riders with bike equipped with wheel till 22". 18 years old in the current year. Special admission for Riders aged from 17 years old in the current year can be admitted by Technical Group after request by the National Delegate.
- Elite 26" definition: Open Category for Riders with bike equipped with wheel more great 22". 18 years old in the current year. Special admission for Riders aged from 17 years old in the current year can be admitted by Technical Group after request by the National Delegate.
Senior and Elite are "open" categories. This means that to take part in Senior or Elite Category will be necessary the BIU License 2015 only. Scratch system is deleted. Will be possible upgrade to Elite from Senior and downgrade from Elite to Senior without limit.
The best Rider will be the winner. Very simple ! Without limits.
Elite Femina will compete in the same day and in the same section of Junior, Senior and Elite but on Orange track color.
