The World BikeTrial Indoor Cup 2016 was held in Barcelona the 17th September 2016. A great crowd attended the event in Placa Major Nou Barris in Barcelona, a square place into a very good historical building perfect for this type of competition. The best BikeTrial Elite riders from the ranking 2016 attended in this competition to win the WBIC 2016. The competition, organized by Ot Pì BikeTrial Club in collaboration with the Municipaly of Barcelona, was structured on 6 artificial sections where the riders given their best to gain the final selection where only the best 3 have access.
The finalists were Vaclav Kolar from Czech Republic, Rafa Tibau from Cataluny and Marco Bonalda from Italy. The final winner of the World BikeTrial Indoor Cup 2016 was the 20" BikeTrial World Champion Vaclav Kolar.
