Second day of competition at the World BikeTrial Championship 2026 in Castellví de Rosanes, Catalonia, Spain, today Sunday, July 5th, 2026.
Yesterday, the World BikeTrial Championship 2026 race took place on the beautiful 9 natural sections mapped out in the woods above the Castellví de Rosanes sports center. The event was organized by the Uniò Catalana de BikeTrial in collaboration with the Moto Club and the Municipality of Castellví de Rosanes.
The first competitor set off at 9:00 AM to tackle the two race laps under a strong summer sun, which was fortunately tempered by a breeze that lasted throughout the entire competition. Demanding and technical sections designed by the organizers under the supervision of Dani Comas put the endurance and skills of the participants to the test. All results are listed in the rankings available at the link below. Today's winners of the three categories are: Pau Poveda Perez from Catalonia in Class 3, Viliam Toth from Slovakia in Class 2, Great Britain's Charlie Rolls in Class 1.
The award ceremony began at 5:00 PM at the sports center, attended by the Mayor, Mr. Sergi Busquets Lara, and the entire organizing committee led by Delegate Toni Tamame. Excellent organization and the warm hospitality of our friends in Castellví made the event truly enjoyable and highly successful.
The international BikeTrial season continues with both the Euroepan BikeTrial Championship 2026, which will take place on July 18th and 19th, 2026, in La-Tour-de-Scay, France, and the second round of the World BikeTrial Championship 2026, to be held in Alpette, Italy, on August 8th and 9th, 2026, where the 2026 BikeTrial World Champions of all categories will be crowned.
