Day one of the World BikeTrial Championship 2026 today, Saturday, July 4th, 2026, in Castellví de Rosanes, Catalonia, Spain—let's see how it went.

On Saturday, July 4th, 2026, in Castellví de Rosanes in the Catalonia region of Spain, the first day of racing for the World BikeTrial Championship 2026 took place. The participants were divided into two groups: the first, starting at 8:30 AM, featured the Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, and Under 16 categories, followed in the afternoon by the Class F, H3, H2, and H1 categories.

Excellent organization was provided by the Uniò Catalana de BikeTrial in collaboration with the Municipality of Castellví de Rosanes and the Moto Club of the same town. They made the municipal sports center available, equipped with all services, including catering, a bar, and free camping for all participants. Security was always present to protect the competitors, with the entire race course closed to traffic. This Catalan town has already hosted several editions of the World Championship in the past, and that experience showed in many details. Really well done, Catalan friends, as always. Thank you Castellvì de Rosanes !

The sections developed in the woods above the town, featuring a substantial transfer section and very well-designed trials by the organizers under the supervision of multi-time world champion Dani Comas, with well-balanced and spectacular technical passages. The standings clearly reflect the difficulties faced by the participants from the 9 nations competing.

Tomorrow is the Group A race, which will once again put on a show on this excellent race course.
